Hi Friends:

What has inspired and delighted us this week? Here they are - the sights, sounds, tastes and one-of-a-kinds we loved!

Georgia's took these photos while vintage shopping in Sandwich, IL. The clouds were hanging so low, it felt like you could reach out and touch them!

Are you making your own chocolate Magic Shell? If not, here is the easy how-to. Mix 1/2 cup warmed coconut oil with 3/4 cup melted, good quality chocolate (melted in a microwave or in a bowl set over simmering water). Pour over ice cream and watch it harden! Makes 1 cup, enough for now and later.

Have you heard of stack pie? The concept originated in the colonial South as a way of transporting pies to a gathering by stacking them on top of each other. The pies, often held together with caramel icing, could be four or five pies high becoming something new and delectable. Stacked Chess pies were a favorite. Pies were sliced thinly as they were very rich. We love this idea for special occasions. Let's see...apple and pecan, blueberry and lemon cream...the possibilities are endless.

This proves you can plant in just about anything. How about this vintage blue wicker file basket; we think it's just adorbs!

Georgia's found this vintage solid oak porch swing with original green paint at the Country Living Fair in Rhinebeck, NY last weekend. It's in amazing shape (structurally very sound) and ready for an over-stuffed cushion!

You can't go to New York City without going to Eataly! We love browsing the aisles of imported Italian pasta!

Georgia's ducked into Fishs Eddy, a commercial quality dish and glassware store in New York City, and found a world of inspiration. We loved this vintage gravy boat repurposed as a planter!
