Chair Flair!
Hi Friends:
It's not gone unnoticed over the years, that I have an assortment of chairs (and stools) hanging around. It's nice to have them readily accessible when hungry family and friends outnumber available table seating, and they are a great place to perch and take a load off in any room. In addition to providing seating, chairs can add flair! I am particularly fond of tucking a vintage chair that has become separated from it's original set in a corner or against a wall where I can enjoy it's style and finish. Take a look at a few chairs that Georgia's has acquired:
I love this French country chair; it's small enough for even the tightest spot.
This antique thonet-style chair with original green paint really pops!
Rush seat chairs add warmth and charm.
An understated vintage solid oak desk/office chair.
Circa 1900 primitive spindle-back barn chair.
Two examples of vintage stools - perfect for the kitchen.
Inspired? If you could use an extra chair or two, check out flea markets, antique malls and garage sales where you can often find a good deal on loners that will work hard for you!
